April 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Haven’t been to the Library recently? Come to the Library during National Library Week April 13 – April 19 and rediscover what the Library can offer. The Library truly is the center of the circle of knowledge and information.

The Library is planning several events for NLW:

  • The Gummy Bookworms are back at the Circulation Desk. Come and grab a handful.
  • There will be daily prizes. Circles of different colors will be hidden throughout the library. Find one, and you could win a $5.00 gift card for: Starbucks, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, Quiznos, Movie Tickets, or Copy Cards.
  • Guess the number of chocolates in the Fish Bowl and win the delicious goodies. The person closest to the actual number will win the Chocolates!
  • Are you and your friends feeling hungry? Come to the Library and fill out an entry for our Grand Prize, a party-sized sub. The Grand Prize Drawing for a $50 Starship Sub Gift Certificate will be held on Friday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m.
  • Join us for Afternoon Tea in honor of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing’s students, staff, and faculty on Wednesday, April 16, 2:00 p.m.– 3:30 p.m. in the Library’s Stritch Conference Room.
  • Dragging to work in morning? Come by the Library on Friday morning 8:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m. for free Coffee & Donut Holes.

Remember: Only one prize per person, per day.  Thanks.

For more information, call the Library at 6-9192 and ask for Jan or Mary.
