As of June 30, 2008, Blackwell-Synergy journal content—including current issues, backfiles, and issues published online before print—has been migrated to Wiley InterScience. Please note that not all content will be available on June 30th. Some back issues, ceased journals, and other content will not be loaded until after the initial transition. We will be adding missing content over the next 10 days.
The full list of missing content which we are working through is listed on our transition site here:
interscience.wiley.com/transition. Updates will be posted there as items are resolved.
Most links have been redirected to their nearest equivalent on Wiley InterScience. However, Wiley is still working on the OpenURL links to ensure they resolve direct to the appropriate journal rather than the
main homepage. Wiley claims they will have this in place within a few days.
If you any questions, please e-mail Heather Cannon at hcannon@lumc.edu
Thanks for your patience.

I have been trying to access most recent articles related to hematology in both British Journal of Haemetology and Leukemia. There is an embargo on the articles recently published in both of these Journals limiting my access. These journals provide very important information relevant to our daily patient care and this embargo will effect negatively my practice. This is an inferior service compared to the time when I had access to journals on the shelves. Since conversion to electronic journals our utilization and access to to literature have been improving but with these recent changes I believe we are getting worse service than 10 years ago.
I understand the financial challenges for the library but there should be the right priority for the selection of the proper journals. A selection made based on usage by medical student or residents may not be the right one since limitation on these very important articles will ultimately effect the care I am providing to our patients. I feel like that the library service I am getting here is worse that the 3rd World country!
