Remember this only works for journals to which we have a subscription. The following message may also appear: “There are no links associated with the above citation.” LinkSolver does not work for book chapters and it will also not work if the ISSN field is missing from the article citation.

The library now has electronic access to the Encyclopedia of Associations. Information provided in this database includes addresses and phone numbers for various associations, as well as links to the association’s website.
Updated ebooks include Essentials of physical medicine and rehabilitation ; Lippincott’s nursing drug guide ; Manual of laboratory and diagnostic tests ; Ferri’s clinical advisor.

The Learning Resources Center is Closed Temporarily

Because of the recent flooding, the Learning Resources Center (LRC) needs to be disinfected and the carpeting replaced. The LRC will reopen when the disinfection treatment is completed. For more information, contact Stephen Van Houten at 6-5307.

UpToDate acquired by Wolters Kluwer Health

Wolters Kluwer Health announced it intends to acquire UpToDate. According to Arvind Subramanian, President & CEO of Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions, Kluwer will combine their experience in developing point of care decision support tools with UpToDate’s best-of-breed offerings in content and search, to develop robust EMR integration tools, expand their existing offerings and accelerate UpToDate’s global expansion. With the acquisition, Wolters Kluwer Health plans to further expand UptoDate’s specialty areas to cover neurology, immunology and other medical fields.
