Using RefWorks with the New Pubmed

The new PubMed Interface is now active.  The process for importing references into Refworks has changed slightly. 

  1.  Run your search in PubMed and select your citations, then click on SEND TO

2.  On the SEND to screen, Choose FILE

3.  The Choose destination screen will automatically expand.

4.  Select FORMAT: Medline;  click on Create File and save the text file.

5.  Import the PubMed References into RefWorks in the usual manner.
