Loyola University Health Sciences Library is located on the Medical Center Campus in Maywood, Illinois. The mission of the Health Sciences Library is to provide access to the informational resources and services necessary to fulfill the teaching, research, and patient care functions of Loyola University Chicago. To achieve its mission, the Health Sciences Library fosters the advancement of professional health care practice, education and research, and consumer health. The Library also serves as an outreach library for the National Library of Medicine with the goal of educating the public about consumer health information and promoting health literacy.
